A crypto-first casino brings payout times down from hours to minutes without loosening its controls
Crypto-native online casino
A casino built around crypto deposits was losing players at the withdrawal step: manual wallet screening, a treasury team reconciling on-chain movements by hand, and payouts batched twice a day. We replaced the payment stack with the Crypto Payment API and put fraud scoring in the payout path, so most withdrawals cleared automatically and the ones that should not, did not.

The situation
Deposits were fast and players liked them. Withdrawals were the problem. Every payout request waited for a compliance analyst to screen the destination wallet, then for a treasury operator to batch it with others and broadcast the transaction. The queue ran twice a day. Players who deposited in seconds waited six to eighteen hours to be paid, and said so in every review.
The operator supported four chains, each through a different integration with its own reconciliation spreadsheet. Price movement between deposit and settlement landed on the P&L. And because screening was manual, it was also inconsistent — the same wallet could be approved by one analyst and held by another.
What we did
- 01
One API for every chain
The four chain integrations replaced with the Crypto Payment API, with confirmation policies set per chain and per amount so small deposits credited instantly and large ones waited for finality. Two further chains were added as configuration during the project.
- 02
Screening inside the flow
Every destination wallet screened automatically against sanctions and blockchain-intelligence risk categories before a payout could be queued. Clear wallets proceeded; flagged wallets opened a case with the risk category attached, so analysts reviewed exceptions instead of every request.
- 03
Fraud scoring on the withdrawal
Fraud Detection scored each payout against account age, deposit-to-withdrawal pattern, device history, and bonus state. Low-risk payouts were released automatically; anomalies — new destination, rapid cycling, bonus not yet cleared — were held for review with the reason shown.
- 04
Settle to stablecoin at receipt
Incoming deposits converted to stablecoin on arrival, so player balances and the treasury position stopped moving with the market. Payouts were funded from that pool, with automatic batching and fee optimisation per chain.
- 05
Reconciliation that finance could close from
On-chain movements, conversions, fees, and player-ledger entries matched automatically into a treasury view by asset and chain. The month-end spreadsheet was retired in the second month.
“Our reviews used to be about withdrawal times. Now they are about the games. That is the business we wanted to be in.”
